It's almost as if anyone, male or female or of any church, who is righteous by default holds the priesthood and that is essentially the "royal priesthood" claim of the Protestants.
Peter said, "But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people;
that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous
light" (1 Peter 2:9).
I believe this applies to all believers in Christ. Even females are called to exit darkness and enter
the light. Women are not guided into the light through the efforts of their male counterparts. Their
mediator is Christ himself. Christian women are also a holy nation, a peculiar people.
