For Those Of You In Utah

My question is quite obvious: Is she a shill for the GOP or is she the real thing. Does she have the same recognition and respect in UTah or does she fall subject to the woman/black heritage? I thought she was outstanding and can't wait to hear her on center stage at the convention. I hear she is running for US Congress in the state as a conservative. And as conservative as Utah is, I was wondering if she has any recognition or respect there locally. For Utah to elect a woman, and a black woman at that to the US congress would be OUTSTANDING IMHO.
But I would love to hear from those in Utah if this is even remotely possible - even today? Anyone know?
And this is not a political thread - but one about a Mormon woman who has become as noted as Ann Romney in this convention.
Is she for real in Utah?

Being a woman might be a negative from studies I've seen recently, being black and a woman as articulate and "energized" as she is, likely a positive.
She won against 3 white guys with more experience in the Republican Primary. I suspect it will be mostly about the party District 4 wants to vote in this time around.

Except where the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT stripped them of their rights, Mormon women have held the vote rights in the United States longer than any other state except Wyoming.
And I defy you to find anything codified in the laws of the State of Utah requiring or endorsing disparate people based upon race.
No segregation.
No poll taxes.
No look-the-other way juries.
Was there bigotry in Utah- yes.
Was it codified in the law as it was in the East? Not hardly.
In point of fact, I challenge you to find a single example of insitutionalized racism by the State of Utah in the last fifty years.
Your inneundo and insinuations are blatantly false, blatantly bigoted, and blatantly inflammatory- designed not to advance the conversation, but to perpetuate offensive and bigoted stereotypes.
