Why should I think that this title should make any sense to anyone?

Bryce Haymond of Temple Studies blog (http://www.templestudy.com/) has been experimenting with a Google Hangout “fireside” to discuss some aspects of the LDS concept of the temple.

I will be trying something new  and participating in the discussion a bit. (My doctor says it will prevent me from getting old.  I disagree.  It simply makes getting old more frustrating.)

You can read about it a bit here:
http://www.templestu...ide-discussion/

If you’d just like to watch the discussion live, then you can simply go to TempleStudy.com tomorrow night (Thurs 16 Aug.) at 7:30.  If you can't watch it live at that time it will be recorded and posted online on Bryce's web page.

You can watch a recording of a previous one here:

Will there be any place for signing up to watch or is simply clicking on the website sufficient (a video comes up like it does on Youtube except you don't press play, I am assuming)?

When you climb up a ladder, you...begin at the bottom...ascend step by step, until you arrive at the top...so it is with the principles of the Gospel--you must begin with the first...go on until you learn all the principles of exaltation. But it will be a great while after you have passed through the veil before you will have learned them. It is not all to be comprehended in this world. Joseph Smith

You can simply watch at TempleStudy.com.  There is also a Google+ event page where it will also be embedded for viewing.  You can sign up that you are "going" and Google should send you a reminder at that time:

Here is a recording of our Temple Studies Hangout.  We discuss the Dead Sea Scrolls and the Temple, and Genesis 28 and Jacob’s vision as a temple text.

We are planning another temple discussion via Google+ Hangouts this coming Wednesday, August 22nd, at about 7:30pm.  Text is Andrew Skinner's Temple Worship, chapter 1.  Let us know if you are interested in participating in the discussion.
