Use this thread for reporting bugs.  I'll be in the chat room for a little bit just in case something major comes up.

It just barely happened, but now when I hit the "back" button I get this:

Webpage has expired

Most likely cause:
  • The local copy of this webpage is out of date, and the website requires that you download it again.
What you can try:

res://ieframe.dll/bullet.png Click on the Refresh button on the toolbar to reload the page. After refreshing, you might need to navigate to the specific webpage again, or re-enter information.

Why does it check my browser before accessing the Forum so often now?  What is it checking?

Your IP, I assume.  It's probably keeping track of it and seeing that one IP isn't pinging the server too much.  And maybe through cookies as well?  I dunno.

Not a bug per se but it bugs me. The new indication of when a post was made , ie. yesterday at 11:52 am. Is this adjusted to the time zone of the reader? If not, then is this a test of mental accuity? Seems like a burdensome change.

if you click on the link that says DDoS protection by CloudFlare (you have to be quick!), it will give you some ideas. I am guessing that there are some people who haven't liked some of the things being discussed here (themselves!), and have retaliated by recruiting the Internet underworld to launch DDoS attacks on the site, which is what caused it to go offline a couple of times. CloudFlare is one way of protection against such attacks, but it has the downside you have observed.

It should only be doing it every 45 min but if you close your browser for awhile it will do it when you return.

It takes much longer to get on as well.

When I use my Firefox browser the "Check Browser" page flips me over to an "Oops! This page is broken. DNS Error-Server cannot be found" page after several seconds.  Is mormondialogue set up to no longer allow Firefox users?

Thanks, -Wade Englund-

Perhaps it just doesn't like you Wade?

(I do get the oops message from time to time but both browsers have been accepted at one point or another).

Good to know, this is exactly how it is working for me.  (I use Safari if that is helpful)

When you climb up a ladder, you...begin at the bottom...ascend step by step, until you arrive at the top...so it is with the principles of the Gospel--you must begin with the first...go on until you learn all the principles of exaltation. How can I get warning points removed?  Does everyone see my huge pile of warning points?  Can I simply turn off the warning point notification?

I see no warning points whatever those are, Log.

You are probably right.

I wonder, though, if my Firefox is set to time-out too soon, but I can't figure out where to check or change it.

Thanks, -Wade Englund-
