Just thought I would share. So Isaiah did speak of more than one God!!!

Does anyone else realize what this means?

Isaiah 44:6

Thus saith the Lord the
the Lord the King of Israel, and his redeemer the Lord of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.

The very verse that Evangelical Christians bash Mormons over the head with, is actually an afirmation on the Shema and the unity of Jesus Christ and God the Father of Jesus Christ!!! They are two seperate beings joined in unity of purpose.

Actually, this is a misunderstanding of the English. It reads:

Thus says YHWH, the king of Israel

Even his [israel's] redeemer, YHWH of hosts.

It's just a poetic way to render several of YHWH's titles.
