  1. Isaiah 28 is a good read here. The prophet Isaiah reveals the general state of Ephraim when the one mighty and strong shows up with knowledge in tow. I don't consider Isaiah 28 to be a derogatory statement to the Apostels and Prophet Russell M. Nelson, but to Ephraim at large who is described as being drunk on pride and latched to milk. This would explain why the Lord does not reveal much meat - at least not through the prescribed channels. The people simply haven't earned it.
  2. Part II has been published here: https://lordoftheseraphim.blogspot.com/2019/04/the-seven-levels-of-creation-part-ii.html The topic of discussion here is to discuss how the days of creation align to the dispensations and to the dispensation heads themselves. Seven spiritual levels of humanity is not a new concept. This concept is represented by the spiritual centers called "Chakras" in eastern religion. There are seven heavens which represent the divisions of glory of mankind represented in the Books of Enoch and the Ascension of Isaiah. Avraham Gileadi has also drawn seven spiritual levels from his studies of Isaiah. I submit there are indeed seven spiritual orders of mankind and they align to the seven rewards given to the seven angels of the seven churches of Asia. Knowing who we are and where we are on this ladder to God is as important as knowing where we are headed next. Tying the seven days of creation to these spiritual levels of ascension - have you ever heard of this before? If not, well here you go. This is the topic of conversation.
  3. Seven spiritual levels is not a new concept. Seven heavens are mentioned throughout the apocrypha. Seven chakras are seven spiritual levels of ascension that hail from India between 500 BC and 1500 BC. Avraham Gileadi has pieced together the seven levels of spiritual ascension as well during his studies of Isaiah and the Gospel. Below is my eight article on these seven levels of spiritual ascension. In this article, I begin to align the days of creation to the dispensations, the dispensation heads, the laws of God, and the rewards for overcoming as given to the seven churches of Asia in Revelation. https://lordoftheseraphim.blogspot.com/2019/04/the-seven-levels-of-creation-part-i.html Only the first three days of creation are covered, but I plan on writing more just as soon as I can. Here's a little preview of how these levels match up: Day & Work / Dispensation & Patriarch / Law & Reward Day 1 Light and Dark / Dispensation 7 & Joseph Smith / Faith & Salvation from Physical Death Day 2 Water and Atmosphere / Dispensation 6 & Peter / Repentance & Salvation from Spiritual Death Day 3 Water and Dry Land and Fruit / Dispensation 5 & Moses / Obedience & Knowledge Day 4 Sun, Moon, and Stars / Dispensation 4 & Abraham / Sacrifice & Increase Day 5 Animals / Dispensation 3 & Noah / Gospel & Second Comforter Day 6 Man / Dispensation 2 & Enoch / Chastity & Father's presence Day 7 Rest / Dispensation 1 & Adam / Consecration & Godhood Some of these links are very strong. Noah aligns to the 5th day of creation of animals. Noah and Animals ... hrm. Moses aligns to the 3rd day of creation where God commands the waters to separate from dry land. Hrm ...Abraham aligns to the appearance of the Sun, Moon, and Stars. etc. Enjoy! What is your specific topic of discussion?
  4. **Updated 2/14/2019** Part III changes: -- Added scriptures from D&C 77, Moses 7, and a quote from Joseph Smith that expounds upon the four sons of Horus. -- Updated commentary on facsimile 3's "Grant salvation to the Osiris Hor" **** https://lordoftheseraphim.blogspot.com/2019/02/horus-abraham-and-davidic-servant-part.html
  5. This is exactly what I mean and where I was certain you were going asking these leading questions. You've asked me how I can rely on evidence outside the scriptures without dating. Easy. I don't rely on physical evidence as a foundation of my testimony. Do you? The evidences are the many many coincidences within Egyptian mythology and within the facsimiles themselves. To the believer these are supporting witnesses. To the one who bases their beliefs in physical evidence, they still have plenty of conflicting data to make them feel nice and less insecure in their disbelief. And this is the way God intended. Ether 12:27 Ether 12:6 And now, I, Moroni, would speak somewhat concerning these things; I would show unto the world that faith is things which are hoped for and not seen; wherefore, dispute not because ye see not, for ye receive no witness until after the trial of your faith As for your Egyptus question, yes. Yes it is. If Joseph Smiths revelation on the book of Abraham was... What exactly? Mis-revealed? What else can we toss out of the Book of Abraham by the same or similar justification used to disregard the Egyptus account? The Book of Abraham is deep, rich, and beautiful. However the facsimiles align to the statement of them being original works of Abraham, what's crystal clear to me is the scriptures produced are true. Many layers have been confirmed to me by the method laid out in Ether 12:6. Layers upon layers confirming the foundation which reinforces my testimony of Joseph Smith. The article I've written shows how both the mythology and the facsimiles reinforce my understanding of who the one like unto the son of man is in Abraham 3. None of this is founded in physical evidence but reinforces my many spiritual witnesses. Even if I personally descended into disbelief, there have been way too many coincidences for me to disregard.
  6. Again, I don't want to veer too deeply about dating as it really is getting off-topic. If you have a testimony of Joseph Smith as I do, then you likely agree with me that Egyptus' son was: 1. Righteous 2. The great-grandson of Noah (therefore post-flood) 3. The first Pharoah of Egypt Therefore, the idea that eternal truths may be reflected in Egyptian mythology is not only plausible but probable given the many evidences of this - Bruce Porter's presentation on the Book of Abraham is a fantastic example of this: Adamic may have influenced Egyptian words or persisted in an altered form beyond the tower of Babel - or Amun / Ahman is just yet another "coincidence."
  7. You'll have to be a little more specific. Without such I can't recommend starting a new topic or comment as to the relevancy to this thread (as we're starting to veer quite a bit into why science can't be trusted, (which scientists hate.))
  8. How do you validate any dating beyond the written record? There's nothing against which to verify accuracy.
  9. I don't see it as an extreme trick. The Book of Abraham is the perfect example. There is a lot of evidence to support the Book of Abraham - elements found in later discovered Abrahamic apocyrpha, Egypt being under water, accurate translations, "coincidences" etc. etc. There is also a lot of physical evidence against the Book of Abraham for the disbeliever - "It's just a Book of the Dead scroll!," etc. Mainstream science is full of pride and agendas - when new evidence surfaces that contradicts a mainstream theory, the new evidence is usually disregarded. So many dissertations have been written already - grants pending approval, etc. Anyway, I don't trust the mainstream timelines and there's far more reason to distrust science than there is scripture.
  10. Well if anyone can pull that off, God can. I realize there are more sciencey folks on this site, but remember to be learned is good if they hearken unto the counsels of God. If our reality is a construct, how easy would it be to manipulate? If it isn't, it's it any harder for God to manipulate? There are so many discoveries that poke giant holes in mainstream scientific views on history. Such as, "Egyptians somehow knew how to identify true north but the technology did not exist back then." 😐 Obviously it did.
  11. What if the Earth was in a different state pre-flood? When men lived longer, what if the properties of the materials of this world were also different? Would that cause a wrinkle in dating that would be difficult to detect?
